Alex Neil’s Norwich City will go in search of a fifth victory in six Championship matches when they entertain leaders Newcastle United tomorrow night (7.45pm kick-off).

The Canaries, who embarked on a dreadful run of nine defeats in 13 matches between November and January, have been in excellent form in recent weeks, picking up five wins and a draw from their seven league games in 2017.

Their 5-1 thrashing of struggling Nottingham Forest last weekend demonstrated that Neil, who was under huge pressure earlier in the campaign, has turned things around at Carrow Road, and they’ll be relishing the visit of Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle tomorrow night.

The Magpies narrowly beat Wolves 1-0 at Molineux on Saturday to retain top spot in the Championship ahead of Brighton, and the gap between themselves and third place is now six points following Reading’s 0-0 draw with Barnsley on Saturday, which saw the Royals fall behind Huddersfield Town into fourth.

Newcastle have picked up more points away from home than any other side this term, so this will be a real test for Neil’s Norwich to see exactly how far they have come in recent weeks.

Given they played on Saturday, the Canaries boss may be tempted to make some changes to his starting eleven, so here are THREE players who deserve a chance against Newcastle tomorrow evening…
