There is no doubt that Tottenham are in need of another out-and-out striker with their only two being Harry Kane and Emmanuel Adebayor, the latter of which has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane. Spurs have had bids rejected for West Brom’s Saido Berahino who, interestingly, handed in a transfer request earlier in the week and was left out of the squad which faced Chelsea last weekend. It would seem that this move could be a Deadline Day story if it is to happpen.

One response to “One player Tottenham could sign before September 2nd”

  1. Why should we be surprised that Tottenham miss out when we have Mr Levy in charge. I believe he gets his thrills be saying look how clever I am I bought him for 1 million than they wanted. This of course may be true but when you look at his recent purchases they were not good enough and we have to sell them at a loss. Not to mention the time wasted by our managers trying to fit them in. Look at the number of managers he has hired and fired. Sorry Mr Levy this is NOT how to run a happy and long term successful business/football Club.
I agree we have the most wonderful trainingfacilities. I had the chance of seeing them last year. I would like to see some of our wonderful youngsters be given their chance of first team football. Don’t tell me they would not show more passion than Lamella our expensive waste of money
