Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing England international goalkeeper Joe Hart this summer, according to The Sun.
The Premier League side, who currently sit eight points clear at the top of the table after defeating Hull City 2-0 on Sunday, have emerged as potential suitors for the Manchester City outcast, who has been loaned out to Torino this campaign.
The 29-year-old, who has 68 international caps for the Three Lions, has kept five clean sheets in 20 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit so far this season – conceding 29 goals.
Hart, who was offloaded by City manager Pep Guardiola last summer after agreeing a deal for FC Barcelona’s Claudio Bravo at the Etihad Stadium, is set to move on again ahead of the 2017-18 term.
The report suggests Blues players have urged manager Antonio Conte to recruit the Englishman this summer, with Chelsea No.1 shot stopper Thibaut Courtois being heavily linked with a summer switch to La Liga leaders Real Madrid.
