There is some confusion amongst Spurs fans as to why the 21-year-old, who arrived at White Hart Lane for around £10m during the summer, has yet to really feature for Maurico Pochettino’s side.

The former Saints manager has said his new man needs time to adapt, however, with fixtures coming thick and fast the time may be right to roll the dice and give the forward a go.
