Pochettino should give these 3 Tottenham players a chance against Hull City

We’ve been highly critical of Moussa Sissoko since he moved to Tottenham from Newcastle in the summer, but you can’t fault his effort against United on Sunday.

The French international was introduced by Pochettino with half an hour still to play, and Sissoko gave Spurs the boost that was missing in the first 60 minutes, as he gave Matteo Darmian a torrid time down the right-hand-side.

The only thing missing from the 27-year-old was an end product, but it must give him and his manager confidence that he can step up when needed and give his team a boost when they are flagging.

Whether it’s enough for him to start on Wednesday remains to be seen, but he has certainly put himself in contention.
