Huge Lloris is undoubtedly the number one goalkeeper at Tottenham, but it’s integral that you’ve got an able deputy as back up.

And that’s where Michel Vorm comes in.

The former Swansea shot-stopper had to be ready to replace Lloris on the opening day at Everton, and started the subsequent two league games for Spurs, conceding just the one goal, which was against Liverpool.

As the games come thick and fast, although goalkeeper is not an area you need to keep rotating, Vorm should get minutes on the pitch in case he is called upon again like at the start of the season.

He played in the game against Gillingham, and deserves to retain his spot as the Cup goalkeeper.
