Tottenham go to Manchester City on Saturday (5.30pm kick-off) hoping to record a seventh successive Premier League victory.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side thumped West Brom 4-0 last weekend to move up to second in the table, but they remain seven points behind Chelsea after the league leaders dispatched champions Leicester 3-0 at the King Power Stadium.

Spurs haven’t tasted defeat in the Premier League since they last visited Manchester, going down 1-0 to Jose Mourinho’s United on December 11, and since then they have picked up 18 points from 18 to propel themselves into the title race.

However, they’ll find it tough on Saturday against Pep Guardiola’s City, despite the Citizens losing 4-0 at Everton last week, their fifth league defeat of the campaign.

Guardiola’s men have won their last three home league games, dating back to their one and only defeat at the Etihad this season to Chelsea on December 3.

Nonetheless, Pochettino’s men will go there hopeful of recording a 14th league win of the season, although they’ll have to do it without Jan Vertonghen, who has been ruled out with an ankle problem.

Thus, the Spurs boss may need to rotate his squad, so here are THREE players who deserve a chance against City on Saturday…
