Premier League Halloween XI

This Saturday marks the Halloween celebrations, and with a full Premier League programme over the weekend, Shoot decided to create a name-based spooky top-flight XI.

Here’s what we came up with…

Manager:

Louis van Ghoul (Manchester United)

There’s was only one man for the managerial job! Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will be in charge of this lovely Halloween XI. Many thought the hairdryer treatment from the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson was scary enough, but surely Van Gaal’s death stare at Old Trafford has got to be up there?

Goalkeeper:

Petr ‘Cech Under Your Bed’ (Arsenal)

The Czech Republic international goalkeeper has made 343 Premier League appearances, for both Chelsea and Arsenal, including a club-record 220 cleans sheets in all competitions for the Blues.

Having joined the Gunners earlier this summer for £10m; Petr Cech is now patrolling between the sticks at the Emirates, keeping five shutouts in ten league games to help Arsenal go level on points with leaders Manchester City.
