Premier League Team of the Week: Matchweek 2

FW: Son Heung-min

After scoring four goals against Southampton, Son Heung-Min became only the second ever Asian player to register a Premier League hat-trick. The South Korean had four shots in the game at St. Mary’s and found the net with each. Clinical.

FW: Wilfried Zaha

Having scored twice against his old club, we simply had to find a spot for Wilfried Zaha in our XI. The Ivory Coast international’s brace in Crystal Palace’s impressive 3-1 win at Old Trafford were his first in 10 Premier League appearances against the Red Devils, since leaving Manchester permanently in 2015.

FW: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

The focal point of this week’s attacking trio is Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who scored his first professional hat-trick as the Toffees smashed West Brom 5-2. The 23-year-old also notched the winner last week in the opening-day 1-0 victory away against Tottenham Hotspur. He managed 13 league goals last season and, if he can maintain such a prolific rate, will hope to reach the elusive 20 this campaign.
