Manchester United travel to Southampton hoping not to suffer the same fate they did on their last away trip.
After collecting two wins and a draw from their opening three matches, the Red Devils saw a one-goal lead slip at Swansea as they suffered their first defeat of the campaign.
They have since bounced back with a win against Liverpool, but again showed their frailties in the midweek defeat at PSV.
Their hosts, on the other hand, started the season slowly but have since picked up a win over Norwich and two goalless draws at Watford and West Brom respectively, meaning they have not conceded in three matches.
However, at the other end of the pitch they have struggled, scoring just five times – three of which came against the ten men of Norwich.
Ryan Bertrand and Fraser Forster are still both definitely out but Sadio Mane, who was a reported target of United, is expected to start after being on the bench last week.
For United, ex-Saint Luke Shaw suffered a double leg fracture against PSV and is expected to be out for at least six months.
Marcos Rojo could come in at left-back or even centre-back, with Daley Blind moving over to the wide position.
One defender who could return to the squad is Phil Jones as the former Blackburn man looks to have finally recovered from the blood clot in his leg.
Wayne Rooney missed the midweek game in Europe but should be ok to come back into the side to either partner Anthony Martial or take the Frenchman’s place.
David De Gea will continue in goal and will look to improve a record that has seen him go the last eight Premier League games without a clean sheet.
These two clubs shared a win apiece last season – both away from home – and there have been some tremendous games between Southampton and Manchester United throughout the Premier League era.
