Shoot!’s ultimate Manchester United-Everton five-a-side team

Romelu Lukaku

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been sensational for United and is set to return from a three-match ban against the Toffees on Tuesday.

But it’s difficult to look past the Premier League’s top goal-scorer Romelu Lukaku for the leading role in this team.

The 23-year-old has scored 21 goals in 29 league games this term to help Koeman’s men to seventh place in the table, and with a genuine shot of securing European football next term.

The Belgian international has directly contributed to 27 of Everton’s 52 league goals this season to demonstrate his absolute significance to the team, and given that he has incredible pace and the physical strength to match, he is the all round forward that gives defenders nightmares.

Lukaku may not have been at his best against Liverpool on Saturday, but given his season as a whole, and the improvements he is making as a striker every week, he gets a place in this team.
