New Hull manager Marco Silva will take his side to Old Trafford tomorrow night in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final (8pm kick-off).

The Tigers have beaten Exeter, Stoke, Bradford, and Newcastle en route to the last four, but they’ll be the clear underdogs when they take on Jose Mourinho’s in-form United on Tuesday, a side that have won their last eight games in all competitions.

However, new boss Silva, who replaced the sacked Mike Phelan last week, oversaw a 2-0 victory over Swansea on Saturday in his first game in charge, and he’ll be hoping that his side can take that decent display against the Swans into tomorrow’s clash at Old Trafford.

Despite reaching the last four of the League Cup, it has still been a very difficult season for Hull, who have won just three of their 20 league matches, and are three points adrift of safety in the Premier League.

Nonetheless, they can turn their attentions away from their league struggles on Tuesday night and, with the second leg to come at the KCOM Stadium, they’ll be hoping that they can get something from their visit to Manchester tomorrow.

With a crucial home game against Bournemouth to come in the league on Saturday, Silva could shuffle his pack at Old Trafford tomorrow, so here are THREE Hull players who deserve a chance against United…
