17-year-old defender Josh Tymon has appeared in three of Hull’s four League Cup matches this season, and could be used against United on Tuesday.

The youngster came off the bench to net their second in the 2-0 success over Swansea in the FA Cup on Saturday, his first senior goal, and his confidence will be sky-high going into the United game, which is something that Hull could use to their advantage.

With doubts surrounding the fitness of Michael Dawson, Curtis Davies, and Harry Maguire, Tymon could be drafted into the Hull backline on Tuesday as they hope to take something into the second leg in a few weeks’ time.
