Tottenham are reportedly hopeful of completing a deal for Real Betis star Alvaro Vadillo.

It is understood that the 20-year-old’s negotiations over a new contract at the club have stalled, alerting the Premier League club.

Vadillo, a Spain Under-20 international, made only seven appearances for the Segunda Division outfit last season.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen on a move for the young Spaniard, with the Argentina boss becoming doubtful over the futures of Erik Lamela and Andros Townsend at White Hart Lane.

This news is very exciting and with the acquisition of Clinton N’Jie, Saido Berahino and Kevin Vogt MoPo looks be going to a 4 3 3 formation. Up front Berahino, Kane and N’Jie in behind Eriksen, Vogt/Dembele and Vadillo/Alli. Can’t wait to read the next signing.

Berahino and Austin. N”jie as well if possible, Berahino and N”Jie can play wing, most important for me however is the need to alter our current singleminded dedication to MoPos 4-2-3-1…..with the midfield talent at the club with a lot of it young and home grown, 4-4-2 and 3-5-2 options need to be considered, goals = points. My 4-4-2 team Rose, Jan, Toby, Tippier, Ericksen, Carroll, Dembele, Alli/Pritchard (yes no Bentaleb, no Mason) Chadli & Kane as strikers, with 3-5-2 Fazio, Jan, Toby, Ericksen, Carroll, Alli, Dembele , Bentaleb (Bentaleb, Ericksen and Carrol in the centre with Dembele and Alli wider, same two strikers
