The Swans’ form has dropped in recent weeks, but it’s easy to forget that they started the season well, with their season highlight to date coming at the end of August against Manchester United.

With both sides protecting unbeaten starts, things took a turn for the worse when Garry Monk’s men conceded to Juan Mata just after the interval.

However, summer signing Andre Ayew struck the equaliser 13 minutes later, and then produced a brilliant assist for team-mate Bafetimbi Gomis to net the winner five minutes later.

The Welsh outfit will be hoping they can start to recreate performances like the one against the Red Devils again sooner rather than later.
