Wes Morgan was outstanding for Leicester in their title-winning campaign last season, yet the former Nottingham Forest man has been below-par for much of this season.

However, he can’t afford to be against Chelsea on Saturday, as the Blues boast the Premier League’s top-scorer and one of the most in-form strikers in the world in the form of Diego Costa.

The Spanish international has scored 14 goals in 19 Premier League starts this season, and has also laid on five assists as he continues to flourish in Conte’s front three.

His link-up play with Eden Hazard has been absolutely brilliant at times thus far, but it will be up to Morgan to organise his backline and lead by example against the Blues, denying Costa any space to turn or run into, as well as anticipating his movement and his passes.

Leicester defended poorly, especially at set pieces, in their 3-0 defeat to Chelsea back in October, yet they produced a resolute effort against Manchester City a few weeks ago, and a similar performance of that ilk from Morgan and his back four will frustrate the Chelsea frontline, and potentially help the hosts get a much-needed three points.
