The Chelsea front four that could have been if they landed this key deal

Like many at Chelsea, Eden Hazard had a disastrous 2015/16 campaign, which saw the talented Belgian score just four Premier League goals in the entirety of the season.

However, it took the 26-year-old just ten league appearances to better that tally this time round, when he netted his fifth of the campaign in a 2-0 win over Southampton.

Since then, Hazard has netted a further four goals and laid on three assists to help Conte’s men open up a nine-point gap at the top of the Premier League, and increase the likelihood of a second league title for the talented attacker.

His display in the 5-0 drubbing of Everton back in November was regarded by many as one of the best the Premier League had ever seen, and although he hasn’t contributed as many goals in recent times, he has been outstanding for Chelsea this term, and it’s only a matter of time before he gets back to his pre-Christmas level.
