Arsene Wenger is looking to end a 12-year wait for the Premier League title by leading his Arsenal side to the summit this season.

The Gunners last won the league in 2004 when Wenger led the side to an unbeaten league campaign, in what became known as the ‘Invincibles’ team.

And, based on what we’ve seen so far this season, there’s a chance that the Gunners can end that barren run by securing the title come May.

Wenger’s men are fourth in the table having won seven of their opening 11 Premier League matches, and are currently on a 16-game unbeaten streak in all competitions, which dates back to their 4-3 defeat at home to Liverpool on the opening weekend.

The Gunners have already qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League with two games to spare, but know that they need a positive result against French champions Paris Saint-Germain next week if they want to top the group.

In the league, Arsenal visit Manchester United on Saturday looking to end a ten-year wait for a league win at Old Trafford, with Wenger’s men knowing that victory in Manchester will take them top of the division.
