These 2 January signings would win Manchester City the Premier League title

Pep Guardiola will be reasonably happy with his first three months in English football, having taken over at Manchester City in the summer.

The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona man won his first ten competitive games in charge at the Etihad, including a 2-1 win over neighbours Manchester United back in September.

However, a 2-0 defeat at Tottenham, their first and so far only Premier League defeat, sparked a run of six games without a win, which included a 4-0 hammering away at Barcelona in the Champions League.

Nevertheless, City avenged that defeat with a sensational 3-1 win over Luis Enrique’s side at the Etihad a few weeks ago, and they’ve given themselves a great chance of progressing to the knockout stages as a result.

Guardiola’s side sit third in the Premier League after 11 games, but know a win away at Crystal Palace on Saturday could take them top of the pile.

With January fast approaching, speculation is building about who Guardiola could look to sign in a bid to keep City competitive on all fronts, and here are TWO players that would win City the Premier League if they arrived at the club in January…
