Liverpool dropped points at Anfield on Sunday as they could only muster a 2-2 draw with struggling West Ham.

Adam Lallana had given Jurgen Klopp’s side an early lead and it looked like they were well on their way to a tenth league victory, yet the Hammers hit back through Dimitri Payet’s free-kick, and then Michail Antonio got the better of Joel Matip and Loris Karius to give Slaven Bilic’s side the lead.

However, a Darren Randolph error allowed Divock Origi to equalise minutes into the second half, but the West Ham goalkeeper than made amends by making a stunning save from Jordan Henderson to preserve a point for the visitors.

The result means that Klopp’s Liverpool have won just one of their last four league games, and now find themselves six points adrift of league leaders Chelsea, who beat West Brom 1-0 on Sunday.

Nonetheless, it has still been a fine start to the season for the Reds, who have beaten Arsenal, Chelsea, and Leicester to underline their title credentials.

They are third in the division, but a few defensive errors in the last few games suggests that they may come up short in the title race.

Thus, here are TWO Liverpool players who need to improve in the coming weeks…
