Jesus Navas has never really become the player many thought he would at Manchester City.

The 31-year-old winger moved to the Etihad Stadium in 2013 as City looked to bolster their squad for another shot at Premier League glory and, although they did go on and win the title that season, Navas didn’t have the desired influence.

Too often his decision-making and final ball has let him down during his stay in England, and this season he has been restricted to just six Premier League starts from City’s 21 matches.

Leroy Sane’s arrival and clear improvement since the summer suggests that Navas’ time at City could be up, so it may be best for both City and indeed Navas if the Spaniard moved on this month.
