These 2 Southampton youngsters could be the next Marcus Rashford

Siph Mdlalose

18-year-old Siph Mdlalose joined Southampton at the age of 11, and is fast developing into a very capable forward player.

The South African has this term played for both the Under 18s and the Under 23s, appearing four times for the latter in Premier League 2, where the Saints currently sit ninth in Division One, as well as in their EFL Trophy campaign, where he scored the second from a Josh Sims cross in their group stage win over Crawley Town back in September.

However, it’s for the Under 18s where he has impressed this season, netting four goals in 15 appearances for the team, helping them to ninth place in the South division as well as starting their last two wins over Swansea and Brighton.

Clearly, Mdlalose has got enormous potential, and could well go on and become a first team player for Southampton in the next few years.
