These 2 strikers would be perfect for Chelsea in January

Chelsea missed out on Spanish international Alvaro Morata in the summer, as the 24-year-old re-joined Real Madrid, yet there is a chance he could still move to Stamford Bridge in the near future.

The striker has only started four times for Zinedine Zidane’s side since October, and was an unused substitute in their 5-0 victory over Granada on Saturday.

With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Gareth Bale all at the Bernabeu, it’s hardly surprising that Morata has found first team opportunities hard to come by this season, although he has still netted five times for the club in La Liga thus far.

Nonetheless, the Spanish giants, who bought him for €30 million in the summer after exercising their buy-back clause, could look to offload him and make a profit this month, and Chelsea could be one destination.

Blues boss Conte may feel that he needs more striking options to help Diego Costa and, with it likely that they will go on a cup run, and indeed return to Europe next season, they will need greater depth in that area.

Morata would certainly give them that.
