These 2 strikers would be perfect for Chelsea in January

Antoine Griezmann’s future at Atletico Madrid has been discussed for a while, but it doesn’t appear to be any clearer now than it did a few months ago.

The French international, who helped inspire his country to the final of the European Championships last summer, parted company with his agent last year, and since then Manchester United and Chelsea have reportedly been keeping tabs on the 25-year-old.

Griezmann, who has scored 11 goals in 23 games for Atletico this season, would certainly bolster both sides’ attacking options, yet Conte should get in there ahead of former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and secure the Frenchman’s signature.

A front three of Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, and Griezmann would cause problems for any side in Europe, and it would give the Chelsea boss greater options ahead of a busier second half of the season, and indeed ahead of their likely European adventure next season.
