These 2 Swansea City players must improve if they are to stay up

We all know Modou Barrow has got great pace and can cause full-backs no end of problems – he proved that against Nacho Monreal at the Emirates in October – but it doesn’t always translate that into chances and goals.

The 24-year-old has yet to net a Premier League goal this season and, although he has two assists, too often his final ball isn’t good enough.

He is also wasteful in front of goal which, when you’re near the bottom, has to improve – he has had ten shots this season, but only two of them have hit the target.

There’s no surprise that when Barrow was at his blistering best and improved his final delivery, Swansea picked up three points in their 5-4 win over Crystal Palace a fortnight ago.

The forward is clearly good enough to make a difference in the final third, but we haven’t seen enough of it yet this season.
