These 2 Swansea City players must improve if they are to stay up

English winger Wayne Routledge has started 11 times for Swansea in the Premier League this season, and has just one goal to show for his efforts.

The 31-year-old netted in their 3-1 defeat at Stoke in October, but has added very little to rest of Swansea’s attacking play.

His 805 minutes on the pitch have yielded no assists, and for an attacking player who likes to get wide, take defenders on and get the ball into the box, that’s not good enough, and he unsurprisingly lost his place in the starting line-up against Tottenham last time out.

The Swans cannot keep relying on the goals from Leroy Fer and Gylfi Sigurdsson to get them out of trouble, others must step up, one of which being Routledge.
