These 3 Arsenal stars are fighting for their futures at the Emirates Stadium

Santi Cazorla

Spanish international Santi Cazorla has been restricted to just seven Premier League starts this term, and it’s evident that Arsenal have missed his presence in the midfield.

The 32-year-old, who signed for the Gunners all the way back in 2012, netted twice and laid on two assists at the start of the campaign to help the North London club make a solid start to the campaign, although he hasn’t featured for the side since the end of October.

And an ankle injury means that there is a very real possibility that Cazorla may not don the red of Arsenal again, as his contract is up at the end of the season, and he’s likely to miss the rest of the campaign due to his ankle problem.

Whether a new deal is agreed remains to be seen, but there’s no doubt that the midfielder is still one of Arsenal’s best players, and they certainly look a better team when he is in the side.

Whether that’s enough to secure his future at the Emirates is far from certain.
