Probably the unsung hero of the Tottenham team in recent seasons, Mousa Dembele quietly yet efficiently goes about his business in the centre of midfield.

£15 million seemed like a lot when he joined from Fulham four years ago, but his displays in the Spurs midfield have more than paid for that.

It’s no surprise that Spurs seem to miss something in the middle when Dembele doesn’t play and, although they have dealt well with his absence in recent weeks, he adds so much to the Tottenham side when he plays.
