Liverpool are well-placed to end their 26-year wait for the Premier League title by going all the way this season.
Jurgen Klopp, embarking on his first full season in charge, has led the Reds to nine wins from their opening 14 league games, with just two defeats thus far this season.
However, one of those came in their last outing, as Klopp’s men threw away a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3 at Bournemouth on Sunday.
Nonetheless, Liverpool have shown enough in the first three months that they are capable of challenging this season, with victories over Arsenal and Chelsea outlining their title credentials.
Klopp’s men are third in the Premier League, four points adrift of league leaders Chelsea, and they will host a struggling West Ham side on Sunday in a bid to keep the pressure on Antonio Conte’s men.
However, many feel that the Reds, who have also made it to the semi-finals of the League Cup, will come up short this season unless Klopp brings in reinforcements in January.
