Although Pedro has been brilliant and Willian was outstanding for the Blues last season, James Rodriguez would add even more quality to an already talented front line.

The 25-year-old has seen his game time restricted at Real Madrid under Zinedine Zidane, and has made just seven La Liga appearances thus far, although did make a rare start against Sporting Gijon on Saturday.

Nonetheless, it seems that the Colombian captain is unhappy at the Bernabeu and, given that Chelsea expressed a keen interest in the summer, Conte and co should revisit that come January in a bid to strengthen their forward line.

With the future of Oscar, Cesc Fabregas, and Willian in doubt, Chelsea will need more attacking options, and Rodriguez could be the man to fill the void.
