Chelsea remain top of the Premier League after coming from behind to end Tottenham’s unbeaten league start on Saturday.

The Blues succumbed to Christian Eriksen’s strike after just 11 minutes and, although Spurs were much the better side in the first half, Antonio Conte’s men hit back just before the break through Pedro.

And the hosts completed the turnaround just six minutes into the second half when the reborn Victor Moses fired home his second league goal of the season.

The Blues had relinquished top spot to first Manchester City and then Liverpool earlier in the day, but a tenth win of the campaign puts them back on top of the pile.

It’s now seven straight league victories for Conte since his switched to a back three, and the Chelsea players are clearly revelling in their manager’s tactics at present.

A serious test of their title credentials will take place next week at Pep Guardiola’s City, but they’ll feel confident of getting a result at the Etihad given their recent run of stunning form.

With January fast approaching, many are speculating who Conte could look to bring in to further strengthen his squad, and the midfield area could be one of those that needs reinforcing.
