Roberto Firmino is another Liverpool player who has significantly raised his game this season.

The Brazilian international was brought to Merseyside by Brendan Rodgers in 2015, but he struggled to immediately adapt to the English game and didn’t net his first Liverpool goal until November 21 – his 15th appearance for the club.

However, Firmino was clearly boosted by Klopp’s arrival, and has since netted 16 times for the Reds, including five goals this season.

His all round play in the final third is also improving, with his three assists indicative of a player who is creative but also clinical in the opposition box.

Firmino is developing into an excellent forward, and will be crucial if Liverpool are to sustain a title challenge this season.
