The Brazilian international has clicked with Mane and Firmino upfront, and has netted five goals and assisted five times already in this campaign.

Consider that he scored just eight league goals last time around, it’s clear how much he is revelling in the more advanced role deployed by Klopp.

His form, and indeed fitness given his serious-looking injury sustained against Sunderland, will be key to Liverpool’s success this season.
