Should Klopp want to bring in a striker to play up top, he should look no further than Torino forward Andrea Belotti.

The Italian has netted ten times in just 13 games for the Serie A side this season, and has helped them to fourth place in the top-flight.

This adds to his 12 goals in his first season at Torino, but it’s this time around where he has really stepped it up, and has rightly been recognised by making his debut for Italy back in August.

Since then, he has netted three goals in his last two national matches and, alongside four goals in his last three league games, Belotti is one of the most in-form forwards in Europe.

Liverpool are reportedly ready to splash out £34 million on the Italian international, as Klopp looks to add another forward to his ranks given the uncertainty surrounding the future of Daniel Sturridge.

Although the aforementioned three have been leading the line for Liverpool thus far, Belotti’s introduction could push these three further back, or perhaps as part of a four-way attack with Mane and Coutinho wide.

Nevertheless, it would certainly give Klopp enviable options in the attacking department.
