Nemanja Matic

The midfield enforcer that came back to Stamford Bridge to help them win the Premier League in 2015, Nemanja Matic is once again playing at an extremely high level.

The Serbian international left Chelsea back in 2011 to sign for Portuguese giants Benfica, before former boss Jose Mourinho decided to bring him back to West London in the January of 2014, before going on to make 36 league appearances in their title-winning campaign the following season.

Matic was named in the PFA Team of the Year for that term given his excellent all round play in the midfield, and although last season was not his best, he has been brilliant once again this term, with he and Kante arguably the best central midfield partnership in the division.
