Tottenham remain Chelsea’s nearest challengers in the Premier League title race after overcoming Middlesbrough 1-0 at White Hart Lane last weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men had earlier seen the Blues open up a 12-point advantage at the top with victory over North London rivals Arsenal, but Harry Kane’s second half penalty meant that Spurs brought the deficit back down to nine with just 14 games to go.

Victory for Tottenham was their 14th of the campaign, and seventh in their last nine Premier League matches.

It also means that they remain second in the division, although that gap to Chelsea may seem like too big a gap to close down between now and May, especially as these two have already played each other twice this term.

Nonetheless, Pochettino certainly has the players at his disposal to go on a long winning run, which could be enough to reel Chelsea in come the end of the season.

Thus, with 14 games of the campaign to go, here is the Spurs XI that can catch Antonio Conte’s league leaders…
