Despite making two costly errors against Manchester City a few weeks back, there’s no doubting that Hugo Lloris is a world-class goalkeeper.

The French international has been excellent for Spurs since arriving at White Hart Lane back in 2012, and has kept 11 clean sheets in 27 games in all competitions for Pochettino’s men this term.

Lloris has on several occasions made key stops at key times to help Spurs out and, although he arguably cost them two points against City, he has certainly won them many more than that over the course of the season, with his displays against City at White Hart Lane as well as at Bournemouth and against Hull a few that spring to mind.

The 30-year-old is a quality goalkeeper, and will be crucial in Spurs’ quest to catch Chelsea come May.
