Could one of the brightest sparks in European football be on his way to the Premier League?

Ajax forward Kasper Dolberg has taken the Eredivisie by storm this season, his first full campaign at the Dutch side, netting eight goals in just 17 league games for the club, and helping them to second in the table.

The 19-year-old’s impressive form saw him win his first Denmark cap in November of last year and, although the goals have dried up somewhat in recent times (he’s not scored in seven games dating back to November 20), Dolberg is still a goal-threat and is very highly-rated in the Netherlands.

Thus, many clubs have reportedly expressed an interest in the young forward, and one of those sides are Everton.

With Ademola Lookman coming in from Charlton, and indeed scoring one minute into his debut, it’s clear that Koeman is thinking of the future and giving youth a chance, so a move for Dolberg this month could be ideal for both the Dane and indeed Everton.
