Kevin De Bruyne left Chelsea in 2014 in the interests of his career, and since then he has become one of the most talented attackers in world football.

The Belgian international had a wonderful spell at Wolfsburg, netting 20 goals in 72 games and winning the Bundesliga Player of the Year award for the 2014/15 campaign, before moving to Manchester City in 2015, where he has become even better.

The 25-year-old scored 16 goals in 41 appearances for the Citizens last term and, although he’s not been as prolific this time around, De Bruyne has got more assists in the Premier League (nine) than anybody else thus far.

Add that on to his nine for the club last season, and the Belgian attacker is an extremely important member of Guardiola’s side, and keeping him fit and fresh over the coming months will be integral to their success.
