This is what Manchester City’s fearsome front three could look like come the end of January

Alexis Sanchez’s future at Arsenal is far from certain given the Chilean’s antics in recent weeks, and the fact that he has yet to sign a new and improved deal at the club.

The 28-year-old was visibly frustrated following their 3-3 draw with Bournemouth at the start of the month, and then was less than impressed at being substituted by manager Arsene Wenger in the win over Swansea last weekend.

Clearly, something is not quite right with Sanchez and the club at present and, given that no new deal has been agreed, speculation will continue to develop surrounding his long-term future at the Emirates Stadium.

City have been linked with the forward and, given that Guardiola worked with Sanchez at Barcelona, he knows him as well as any and may look to reunite with the Chilean at the Etihad.

It would be huge statement of intent from the Manchester club, so don’t be too surprised to see them test Arsenal’s resolve in the coming weeks.
