Three major decisions Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to make in the summer transfer window

Invest in a big-money striker?

Throughout the season the club has been criticised for allowing Romelu Lukaku to join Inter Milan and not replacing the striker.

Adding to this Alexis Sanchez left for the same team, albeit on loan leaving United with just three recognised strikers in their squad, one of which was unproven Mason Greenwood.

Injuries have taken their toll on United, meaning they needed to bring in Odion Ighalo on loan to provide some sort of back-up to United’s thin-on-the-ground attack.

Solskjaer now needs to decide whether the trio of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood are good enough to just bring in a back-up, or does Ole need to Invest in a world-class front man?
