The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder only signed for the French champions from Zenit St Petersburg in January 2019 but has started just five league matches this term.

With 24 caps for his country, Paredes would bolster Solskjaer’s midfield option but with three-and-a-half years left on his contract they’d have to pay a hefty fee.
