Three players Manchester United could sign in the January transfer window

A more recent name to be linked with Manchester United is that of Belgium striker Dries Mertens, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

The 32-year-old’s deal expires at the end of the season meaning he could technically sign a pre-contract agreement with the Red Devils in January.

Mertens, who has scored 118 times in 300 matches for Napoli has a host of experience at the top level and would be a good free signing for Solskjaer – if a deal were to materialise.
