Marcus Edwards is deemed the jewel in Spurs’ academy crown. He starred during Tottenham’s preseason games but has since suffered a minor setback due to injury, with a return expected in the next few weeks.

The 18-year-old possesses magical feet that the ball appears to be glued to at times, which has even lead to Mauricio Pochettino likening him to his compatriot Lionel Messi. High praise indeed, but you can really see in the way the young Englishman moves why such comparisons are viable. We here at Shoot! would not be surprised if this young talent stole the show in 2017.
