Steve Bruce has worked alongside son, Alex, at two different clubs.

The former Manchester United captain has worked alongside his son on two occasions.

He brought 20-year-old Alex to Birmingham in early 2005 after he was released by Blackburn, however his chances were few and far between and he moved to Ipswich a year later.

Things have worked out better for the duo at Hull City though. Alex joined shortly after his dad was appointed manager, and has made 80 appearances for the Tigers in the past three years, with Steve having spearheaded a short return to the Premier League for the Humberside club in 2013.
