Leeds United midfielder Lewis Cook represents England at Under-19 level.

What were you doing at 18-years-old? Looking for your first job? Applying for university? Buying your first car?

Well; Leeds United’s 18-year-old midfielder Lewis Cook has been tipped to complete a January switch to a Premier League club this month.

The England Under-19 international, who has been with the Elland Road outfit since 2004, has scored one goal in 23 appearances in all competitions for Steve Evans’ Championship side this season.

Newly-promoted AFC Bournemouth are reportedly in pole position to land the central midfielder this month, with Leeds owner Massimo Cellino keen to cash in on the youngster during the transfer window considering his own future at the Whites is still seriously in doubt.

Even Leeds boss Evans admits Cook is destined to star in the English top-flight, “He’s 18 years old, man of the match in a lot of games in the Championship, his consistency is very high and he’s a smashing kid off the pitch.

“It doesn’t surprise me that Eddie Howe, and how he’s got his teams playing football, is interested in Lewis, who has absolutely everything.”
