Darikwa has been impressive since making the step up from Chesterfield.

Leicester City and West Ham United have been tipped to start a January bidding war for Burnley full-back Tendayi Darikwa, who only joined the Clarets six months ago.

The 24-year-old, a reported £500,000 buy from League One Chesterfield, has instantly impressed in the Championship under manager Sean Dyche this campaign, scoring and assisting one goal in 21 league games so far.

Darikwa, who can also operate as a winger, is thought to be interesting Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri as competition for Danny Simpson, whilst Hammers manager Slaven Bilic is keen on bringing in a new right-back to replace Arsenal loanee Carl Jenkinson at Upton Park for the foreseeable future.
