2. Danny Welbeck (Brighton)

It’s been a tough few years for Danny Welbeck with injuries stagnating what had been an impressive career to date. After suffering relegation with Watford last term, Brighton handed the 42-time England international a Premier League lifeline last month. After looking sharp in his first two appearances, the 30-year-old continued a promising start to his Seagulls career in the 2-1 win at Aston Villa. As well as netting his first Brighton goal with a well taken finish, the ex-Manchester United and Arsenal striker was a great outlet for his team and even carried on with cramp.
