Top 5: 2020/21 Premier League value for money signings

Adam Lallana (Brighton – Free)

Brighton won the race to snap up Adam Lallana after his contract with Liverpool expired in the summer. Although he’s not played a lot of football over the past three seasons due to injury and the form of his teammates, the 32-year-old will add experience and a winning mentality to a Seagulls squad which has spent the last two seasons fighting off relegation. Yes the Sussex side are handing the 34-time England international a decent salary, but if he can stay fit he will be worth every penny considering they haven’t paid a transfer fee.
