Top 5: 2020/21 Premier League value for money signings

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Tottenham Hotspur – £15million)

Spurs’ first summer signing was that of Southampton’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. Maybe not a name that will get fans off their seats but one that could prove a shrewd bit of business at £15million. The Dane has a tough, winning mentality having previously played at Bayern Munich and – at St Mary’s – showed his leadership qualities by captaining the side. Don’t expect goals and assists but do expect him to make Jose Mourinho’s side harder to break down.
